For those of you not familiar with "Lost", it's about the survivors of this plane that crashes on a deserted tropical island, their struggles with each other and the anomalies the island possesses. If you've not checked it out yet, I suggest you get seasons 1 & 2.
We're now four episodes from the end of season 3, which has been sort of stale up until the last couple of episodes. But it's still one of my favorite shows on TV today.
For those who have seen the show and would like to comment on it, this is your thread. If you don't like spoilers, don't read on!

Okay, the past couple weeks of "Lost" have been kinda crazy. First of all, last week's "Expose" was a little weak, IMO. It followed the flashbacks of Nikki and Paulo, two Losties who haven't really been that important to the story whatsoever.
Then, just as soon as you think "Hey, I think we're gonna find something out this week" they kill off Nikki and Paulo.
Okay, then this past week's episode, "Left Behind", was Kate's flashback, which added a little bit more on her part. But the killer highlight was "The Smoke Monster" running face-first into the sonic wall! What I didn't get was why it just didn't fly over...Locke, Kate, Sayid, and the French chick all climbed over it via fallen tree trunk. Yet, somehow, amazingly even, a mysterious, omnipotent monster made of smoke can't figure that out.
Right.
I don't think any show this season can compare to "Enter 77" (Locke's flashback) because John Locke is so freakin' cool. His flashbacks always add something more to the show...and his island-time scenes give the show a kick in the pants.
I just wonder where he and The Others (including Ben) disappeared to and why John was didn't answer Kate when she asked if he'd been brainwashed. There's something strange, unnerving, about Locke. And I believe that something is going to be a big key to either this season's ender or the rest of the series as a whole. The Others were somehow magically able to acquire his father, Anthony Cooper, from "the box". Maybe this will shed a little light on the whole Cooper/Sawyer theory.
Who knows...
All I know is a) we'd better see ol' Smokey again and find out what all that's about, b) there better be some kind of war or big confrontation between the Losties and The Others, and c) we'd BETTER find out what the hell the island is and who The Others' leader is...
Is this the notorious Jacob we've heard about a few times? Or is he someone we already know?

There is a whole lot of shit currently going on that could become really cool in the near future. The ties between Losties are becoming more and more evident. Such as the link between Sawyers little lover girl w/ baby and Kate and What about ole' Johnny getting tackled out of like a 12 story window!!!! I will admit the one about the diamond thieves kinda got me questioning the validity of this season because that episode was F'in weak!!!! But the last episodes have gotten me all Lost-Ho again!! Somethin I been wanderin though is, there is an entire abandoned village surrounded by a force field of sorts now, WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY GOING BACK TO THE DAMNED BEACH!!!! I digress, Watch out this week fellow Lostaholics cause I believe things are gonna get HO double T!!!!

This past week's ep, "Catch 22", was a no-brainer WHAT?-fest. It was exactly what "Lost" is all about, where it's heading (hopefully), etc.
I think Desmond's a central character to why everyone is even on the island. I mean, he was pulled to the island (probably psychicly), got the "losties" there, and seems to have the whole future-seeing thing going for him.
It's official...he's a superhero, dude. Or...brother, rather. LOL!
My question is a) who's this Portuguese chick, b) was she sent by Penny, and c) do we really need flashbacks anymore? I mean, I like the flashbacks for what they are. They bear significance to "present" moments on the island, but come on. The writers have GOT to DRAW THE LINE somewhere.
I don't think they'll be able to keep Lost plugged in for more than maybe one more season. There's just too many loose ends to tie up...enough to make five other series. I don't know. Maybe I should take my meds, get some rest, and ponder "Lost" another day.
Cheers!

I cannot wait until this weeks episode....I mean like DAMN!!!! The Islands secrets finally revealed!! Guarantee that something will happen and we wont find out shit.
Also, That little tape recorder is gonna make the beach camp like Normandy on D-Day!!! Prolly see Juliet tankin for the woods as fast as possible with an OH SHIT look on her face....That'll be worth the watch. I'm starting to believe that maybe ole' jack is in on it...He was all buddy buddy with the others and schtuff....
I really want to know about the whole...are we dead thing too. That should be cleared up soon, hopefully. Or maybe after the wreck the Others had them plant the wreckage to get them to call off the search....we shall see.
I agree about the flashbacks...enough already!!!
